The role
Ampla is hiring a Production Assistant for a national entertainment news program produced in New York. This is a daily show pace: you will support producers and the control room, pull footage and research, and keep the rundown moving on a tight daily deadline.
What you'll do
- Support producers with research, transcripts, footage pulls, and guest logistics
- Help coordinate shoots, studio days, and field segments
- Handle production paperwork, releases, and music/archival logs
- Pitch in across the newsroom wherever the day needs you
What you bring
- Some production or newsroom experience (internships count)
- Fast writer and researcher who knows entertainment and pop culture
- Comfortable with early calls and deadline-driven days
- Based in New York; this is a full-time staff role
