The role
Ampla is staffing Production Sound Mixers for live sports broadcasts and related studio shoots in the New York area. You will own location audio on game-day and feature shoots: wiring talent, mixing multiple sources, and delivering clean tracks to post in fast-turn broadcast conditions.
What you'll do
- Mix multi-channel location audio for live and taped sports production
- Wire talent, manage RF coordination, and monitor feeds
- Deliver organized tracks and sound reports to post
- Troubleshoot quickly in loud, unpredictable venue environments
What you bring
- 5+ years mixing for broadcast, sports, or documentary field production
- Own professional kit or experience running house/vendor packages
- RF coordination experience in major venues
- Available for game-day schedules, including nights and weekends
