The role

Ampla is hiring a Director of Photography for a modest-budget independent feature set in Chicago, a taut psychological drama heavy on interiors and dialogue. Pre-production starts immediately on signing, with the DP shaping look, coverage, and lighting approach alongside the director from day one.

What you'll do

• Design the visual language of the film with the director in prep
• Light and shoot interior, dialogue-driven drama with a compact crew
• Scout locations and plan coverage against a tight independent schedule
• Supervise camera and lighting departments through production
