VFX Production Assistant

Support the production team at a busy New York VFX studio: dailies, notes, and tracking.

The role

Ampla is staffing a Production Assistant for a visual effects studio in New York. You will keep shot production moving: preparing dailies sessions, taking and distributing notes, updating tracking tools, and supporting coordinators and supervisors across active shows.

What you'll do

• Prep dailies and client review sessions; take and distribute notes
• Update shot tracking in ShotGrid/Shotgun across departments
• Support coordinators with schedules, data wrangling, and deliveries
• Handle studio runs and general production support

What you bring

• Some VFX, animation, or post production experience (internships count)
• Organized, proactive, and quick with new tools
• Interest in building toward a VFX coordinator career
• Based in New York; full-time staff role
